Hi, I would like to calculate the remaining seats on a boatcruise to display in a textbox. Here is what I want to do: select RemainingSeats = [Events.AvailableSeats - Attendees.Adults - Attendees.Children] from Events inner join Attendees on Events.EventID = Attendees.EventID where Events and Attendees are two tables in my database. Please note that the EventID is linked to a certain boatcruise on a certain date. I get the EventID from the Event combobox which is on the same form as the textbox which needs to display the remaining seats. Please help! Thanks! Nelly

Hi. I need some help to write a memory game in python. How should I structure it before I begin to write it. Is it good to have a class that defines a matrix for the play board and something like that? Or should I use functions that defines lists and for-slings? Whats the easiest way? I have a large spreadsheet of 49000 rows. I'm looking for a formula to pully data from this sheet. Listed below are the fields: U COLLD COLLT PHL SQA# ORDDATE OTM RECD 2A 08/06/08 05:21 10495 W27559 08/05/2008 2A 08/22/08 06:04 10824 F13310 08/22/2008 2D 08/23/08 08:38 10660 S40618 08/23/2008 I looking for a formula that will do two things: pull data from a time of 3am till 8am (easy part) and a formula that will count the number of unique phl field entries (i.e.the phyl field can have over 50 different types. This is not easy!

Hi all, I need some help been trying to put together a vbs to do this... I have two servers server (a) server (b), both have the same files on them, however I would like to compare all the files (sizes) on both the servers. Then output the files it finds with different file sizes on say a .txt so that i look at them files to see what they are not the same size!. Thanks Neil.

Hello, We have just purchased a few new servers that have Windows Server 2008 installed on them, and I would like to replace our old servers with Windows Server 2003.  I was able to transfer all of the FSMO roles, and replicate AD and DNS on all of the new servers.  My question is that one of my Domain controllers had WINS on it.  How will I be able to put this on a Windows Server 2008 Domain Controller? Please help...thank you! Randy

I justed added a second WINS Server on my network. They are set in push/pull configuration. Right now it has just default settings. I have a local lan with different subnets with about 500 PCs. Am I  ok with the default config on my WINS Servers?

I have 3 sites - one HQ and 2 remote sites- that are connected via routers.   The routers are configured to pass UDP port 137 but my users can only see the local subnet in My Network Places.   I aso have WINS servers in each site and they are configured as PUSH/PULL replication partners.   I need to give all my users the ability to browse ALL the computers on all 3 subnets so 500  points to anyone that can help me straighten out this mess.

Ok Im sure this is going to end up being rhetorical, but why would an error NOT be thrown at line 6? I ask, as I spent 15 minutes staring at this code, running it and debugging it It completes sucessfully but with incorrect results, should'nt an error been thrown? I am adding validation code to my application that will be executed during the RowChanging event. If errors are detected I am throwing an exception that I want to bubble up to the UI.  However when errors are detected and the exception is thrown (in Visual Studio debug mode) I get "Exception was unhandled by user code.". If I hit F5 to continue everything works as expected, canceling the row edits displaying errors etc. I just do not know how/where I would catch the exception I am throwing in the RowChanging event to prevent this? Hello, In a previous Visual Basic.Net project of mine, I was using the following syntax to format columns in my DataGridView. dgLaborCredits.Columns(5).ReadOnly = False dgLaborCredits.Columns(6).Visible = False dgLaborCredits.Columns(7).Width = 150 I'm trying to do this in my current project and it tells me "columns is not a member of System.Windows.Forms.DataGrid" In both cases, I fill a DataSet Table with data and then set the DataSource for the DataGridView in code. I know this is going to be easy, but both project were done in 2005 and I can't figure out the difference. Thanks, JMO9966

Hi, So I am trying to open a .pdf document in a new browser window the path is \\wdres01\share\Released Documents\Drawings, Lettered (& DLs)\PCM\PCM-010-B.pdf If I paste that path exactly like that into an IE6 url it pulls the document just fine. However when I use this code attached to a buttons OnClick attribute it can't find the file Me.dwgButton.Button.Attributes.Item("onClick") = "window.open('\\wdres01\share\Released Documents\Drawings, Lettered (& DLs)\PCM\PCM-010-B.pdf', '_blank', 'width=900, height=700, resizable, scrollbars, modal=yes'); return false;" I am sure there is just some syntactical thing I am missing here.
