My house is completly wired and I have a D-Link DIR 625 in the basement which gives me good coverage in the basement and 1st floor. However, I have the kids bedrooms and gameroom on the 2nd floor and my Wi-Fi does not reach. I connected a Cisco AP I have the following Cisco AP - Cisco Aironet 1220B 802.11B Access Point, AIR-AP1220B-A-K9 - via a hardwire on the 2nd floor, but it does not seem to show up? Any advice?
