Hi, I run a Cisco vpn for remote access, but is it enough? I've heard of 2-factor authentication solutions designed to enhance vpn security, but they might be overkill.

In the last month I have had four seperate instances of very badly infected PCs. Four companies with a total of 40 PCs, of which five were infected. All were running McAfee products - 2 with Viruscan Enterprise 8.5 with Antispyware, one with Enterprise 8.0 and two with Total Protection for Small Business. I would rather wait for hell to freeze over before using Symantec again, but I am getting rather concerned as each machine had the latest updates on them. Each infected machine has needed substantial cleaning and I am extremely grateful for the HiJackThis team on EE for their amazing help in raising machines from the dead. I would prefer prevention rather than cure, so I would be grateful for any ideas at blocking these trojans which have included Vundo and Winfixer. Thanks, Mike

Hello, A computer I'm working on is infected by a virus XP 2008. I removed as much as I could from Add/Remove programs and from program files. I ran Hijack This and have removed as much as I could. Now My computer is running a lot better but I get random IE pop up windows, some for antivirus software and some for other stuff like foreclosure. I've included a hijack this log. Any Ideas on how I can get rid of these ramdom popups? When ever I get a popup I ran task manager and "end Process" on iexplore.exe and that closes it.

Hi Experts, My McAfee is blocking the auto mail, which i used to send through my program. I have unchecked the block for "Prevent mass mailing worms from sending mail". But then to after 5 minutes it's getting enabled because "Agent enforces policy locally every (min)"  is set as 5 and i'm unable to reset it. I just want to uncheck the block permanently. Thanks & Regards Maatharasi.K

Local domain name: abc.com aliases file:: accountstaff:  account01, account02@xyz.com ... 1. Spamassassin will only check  the locally email account (Account01). 2. "account02@xyz.com" had never been checked, and directly passed out to xyz.com server. How to set the Spamassassin to also check (filter) those Non-local domain email before forward ? Thanks !

Hello all, I'm trying to get spam under control. The boss has agreed to the following scenario. Any message that gets flagged as spam, from any of our domains, to be forwarded to a "global" spam mailbox. I have successfully integrated SpamAssassin with Qmail to mark emails as spam. Now I just need some help with putting them into another mailbox. What I've done thus far is rename /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue to be qmail-queue.orig made a shell script with the name qmail-queue with just one line     spamc -f | /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue.orig I running on RHEL 2.6.9-22.EL SpamAssassin 3.1.9-1 Qmail 1.03 Plesk 8.0.1 Any help, even just advice, would be appreciated.
